Balochistan is not a part of Pakistan. Rahim Baloch Advocate

Former General Secretary of Baloch National Moment and Baloch leader Rahim Baloch Advocate has said in a statement in X that on the occasion of the Shanghai Cooperation Conference in Islamabad, I want to draw the attention of the distinguished participants of the conference to the freedom struggle of the Baloch people. I want I want to make it clear to all the representatives of the member countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization that Balochistan is not a part of Pakistan. Rather, it was an independent state when Pakistan was formed in 1947. Balochistan was not a state of India, so it was not part of Pakistan at the time of its formation. Later, Pakistan forcibly invaded, occupied and annexed Baluchistan (also known as Kalat State). Since then the people of Balochistan have been struggling for freedom. For the past 25 years, the occupied Balochistan has been continuously struggling against the occupation of Pakistan, its colonial policies and the exploitation of Baloch national resources.

He has said that it is not Pakistan but Balochistan, whose borders meet with Iran and Afghanistan, and which is the country of the routes leading from Iran, Afghanistan to Western and Central Asian countries.

The Baloch leader has said that it is also occupied Balochistan which has sea ports close to the United Arab Emirates and the African continent. If the SCO member countries want peace, development, prosperity and progress in the region as well as connectivity and cooperation among the countries of the region, they should convince and pressure Pakistan to withdraw from Occupied Balochistan. Such a role of the SCO member states may prompt independent Balochistan to consider any means of cooperation in communication and cooperation efforts with the SCO. Although Pakistan will try its best to portray the Baloch national liberation movement as terrorism, I hope that the honorable representatives of the member states will know the difference between national liberation movements and terrorism.
