Courtesy of the National Emergency Organization, Babak Yektaprast, referring to the shooting at an emergency ambulance in Iranshahr, said: Following a tribal clash in Delgan County that resulted in injuries to a number of people, two emergency operation teams were dispatched to the scene.
He added: While the injured were being transported to Iranshahr County and in the Shamsabad area, a car that was already following the ambulance opened fire on the ambulance cabin.
Yektaprast explained: As a result of this hostile act, the emergency technician, two injured people, and the patient’s companion lost their lives, and the ambulance driver was also seriously injured.
The emergency department spokesperson stated: “Just at the time of the White Wound Campaign, which was launched to express disgust at violence against emergency department colleagues, we are once again witnessing the repetition of such inhumane actions that threaten the safety of medical staff and the health of society.” He stated: “Legal follow-up of this issue by the competent authorities is on the agenda.”
