The daily markets in Zahedan, like in other cities of the country, have their own loyal customers, so that most citizens meet their needs for food and clothing by visiting the Friday, Monday, or Wednesday markets.

The presence of some vendors on the outskirts of these daily markets has caused dissatisfaction in these places, and citizens are demanding that this issue be addressed.

The vendors of this daily market also complained to the municipality managers, because not only are basic facilities not provided for them, but any vendor who appears in the market earlier gets a better place, which has caused dissatisfaction among the businessmen.

The lack of trash cans, proper asphalt, and the lack of parking and space for commuting in these markets have caused a lot of dissatisfaction among Zahedan citizens, and these are among the issues that have led citizens to protest against these daily markets.

Daily markets occupy the way of commuting
Ahmad Shahraki, a Zahedan citizen, stated that holding such markets during the week has its advantages and disadvantages; in an interview with our reporter, he said: On the one hand, some businessmen are counting down the days until this day comes and they can sell their goods and earn an income for their livelihood, but the residents of the area who live in these daily markets are suffering because their way of commuting is occupied.
Lack of parking and lack of cleanliness at the daily markets
Javad Miri, a citizen of Zahedan, said in an interview with our reporter about the situation at the Dushanbe Bazaar: The establishment of daily markets should be based on criteria such as cleanliness, sufficient space, and parking for citizens, which have received little attention from the authorities.

He added: Also, being clean from all kinds of waste resulting from the buying and selling of goods requires the deployment of service forces, and the lack of trash cans is another problem at these daily markets in the city.

Also, Sakineh Meysampour, another citizen, referring to the establishment of the Wednesday Bazaar, said: Currently, this daily market is particularly popular, with many people going to this market to make a living, but the lack of an inappropriate space, garbage depots, and lack of asphalt have created problems for us.

The presence of garbage accumulation in the places of the daily markets
He continued: Crowds, the noise of the merchants from their portable loudspeakers, the sound of car horns, garbage left in the environment, etc. are among the factors that have caused us to visit these daily markets less often.

This citizen clarified: According to the residents of this place, from Tuesday afternoon, when the table setting and fruit, clothing, food, etc. of the merchants are spread out on the ground next to the library, the peace and comfort of the residents of this area are taken away and do not return until midnight on Wednesday night.

Stating that although these daily markets are a place for the citizens of Zahedan to shop weekly at reasonable prices and for all types of goods; Meysampour pointed out: In addition to depriving the citizens of comfort during school hours, its inappropriate location has also caused disturbance to students, such that the noise in this place has disrupted their concentration.
