Behind every Baloch life lost is a family shattered, a dream buried, and a voice that may never be heard again. The people of Balochistan deserve more than sympathy. They deserve dignity, justice, freedom, and the right to live without fear. No people should have to sacrifice their sons and daughters just to have their voices heard. May their suffering never be forgotten, their voices never be silenced, and their struggle for justice never be ignored. Balochistan is not just a land of struggle. It is a land of people whose pain deserves to be seen and whose lives deserve to matter. 🕊️

Now we are seeing young Baloch girls armed with rifles roaming villages and streets, welcomed and embraced by locals. Just two years ago, many of these women were engaged in peaceful activism but were met with harsh treatment. I warned about this very outcome two years ago in this piece I wrote for Dawn.
BLF Women’s Wing ‘KAAD’ Takes Full Control of Minaz, Buleda in Historic Visuals of Resistance In staggering footage from Minaz, Buleda (Kech district), the Balochistan Liberation Front’s (BLF) female wing—the Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD)—is seen heavily armed and fully in control of area checkpoints and roadblocks. In deeply emotional scenes, local mothers and elders flooded the streets to embrace the female fighters, kissing their foreheads and chanting slogans. Urging locals to join the ranks, the women fighters declared: “We will lay down our lives today or tomorrow, but this war of liberation must now be carried forward by you—there is no other way.” These unprecedented visuals of popular support and armed control serve as a major shock to Pakistan’s military apparatus, signaling the total collapse of state writ across rural Balochistan.
