American ambassador visits Gwadar with the US
American Ambassador Donald Blome Tuesday discussed connecting the largest Pakistani export market from Gwadar with the United States, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The American embassy representatives said that Donald Blome visited the Gwadar port and reviewed the opportunities for the development and for expansion of bilateral business relations.
During the visit, American ambassador Blome met the Gwadar port authority chief Passand Khan Buledi and discussed port operations, developmental positions and the ports’ potential to become a regional trade hub.
He met local leaders and deliberated upon matters related to economic growth, disaster relief and security.
He also met the members of the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Pak-US Green Alliance framework including environment, energy, water and economic issues also came under discussion
