My father, Mir Basheer Ahmed, has been taken to the office of Hub SP—not for a crime he committed, but for the political stance I uphold. He’s been told he will be released only if I give my arrest.

This is not law enforcement. This is political blackmail.

When the state fails to silence a voice, it turns to punishing blood relations. My father and family has been multiply harassed because of my activism.
